The National Youth Volunteering Portfolio has the capacity to record, recognise and reaffirm the attributes, skills and learning gained through volunteerism, as a constant record of life events through this lens. Chabhraigh Localise go mór leis na scoláirí tuiscint a fháil ar obair dheonach agus ba iontach an rud é do chlár folláine na scoile a bhí á fhorbairt againn ag an am.  Tháinig ionadaí na heagraíochta isteach chun muid a threorú sa chaoi is go mbeidh mé in ann tabhairt faoi mé fhéin amach anseo. Mholfainn é d'aon scoil toisc gur thaitin sé leis na scoláirí an méid sin agus spreagann sé cultúr den scoth a thógfaidh siad leo a saoil ar fad

Through this [Localise] platform community groups and schools will be able to access instructional videos and other supports enabling them to facilitate a Localise programme in an online blended format… online platforms such as this are crucial in reimagining how we engage with young people.

The Localise programme is an excellent, well-developed programme that is very easy & enjoyable to facilitate. The programme aims to bring out the very best in young people by equipping them with the skills to become active youth volunteers within their community. The programme has been running for eight years in Beneavin College, & each year it’s grows strength from strength. It is a joy to be part of Localise.
